On Wednesday 1st December, the 4th edition of the Everysens Evening took place: an annual event that is now a must in the supply chain ecosystem.

150 actors from the industry and the transport sector gathered around round tables, feedback and demonstrations to discuss the opportunity of modal shift and the actions needed to make it a reality.

Every year, the awards ceremony is an eagerly awaited event. The objective? To reward the major groups for their logistics innovations around 3 prizes, recognising the different stages of a successful digital project.

From start-up(Start Award) to first results(Scale Award) to confirmed ROI(Grow Award), three companies stood out for their digital maturity:

  • TotalEnergies - Start Winner "Best Project Deployment". TotalEnergies transports millions of tonne-kilometres of goods per year from its production sites to its storage depots and end customers. As part of its group-wide innovation process, TotalEnergies has identified the digitalisation of its transport planning processes as a real performance lever. Everysens and TotalEnergies will start their collaboration in Germany, an important hub for TotalEnergies' rail logistics in Europe, before extending the deployment to the rest of Europe. Youri Trinh, Supply Sales and Optimization Manager of TotalEnergies in Germany said: "With Everysens' solution, we are digitizing a complex process for planning our product shipments by rail. This simplifies the collaboration between many stakeholders, internally with our production site, our depots and externally with our multiple partner rail companies and of course with our customers. This will enable us to plan, execute and monitor our logistics operations more efficiently and to optimise them. Ultimately, we want to better satisfy our customers while optimising our logistics costs.

  • Arkema - Scale Winner " Best International Implementation ". The Everysens solution was chosen by Arkema, the leading French chemical company and a global player specialising in materials, to digitalise the real-time management of its railway operations. "We tested several market solutions in order to validate the benefits for our customers. Everysens stood out not only in terms of the proposed solution but also in its ability to understand our needs and support us. Everysens is not only an expert in rail, data collection and intelligent data processing, but also a partner for us on the customer project. After a few weeks of piloting, carried out in the middle of a containment period, we chose to work with Everysens."says Mr Jean Marc Viallatte, Vice President Supply Chain Group of Arkema.

  • EQIOM, CRH Group - Winner Grow "Best ROI & Process Optimisation With 115 concrete plants and 33 aggregates sites, EQIOM is a major player in the construction materials industry. The company integrates sustainable development into the heart of its operations, particularly in its logistics, where rail plays a major role. Reducing its environmental impact and increasing its profitability means making the best use of transport resources. It is to improve this logistical performance that EQIOM called on Everysens and its TVMS Rail solution. "We plan to be able to dimension our entire wagon fleet, to be able to optimise our various rail flows, in particular thanks to analyses of utilisation rates and backhauling." Jérôme Bécamel, Supply Chain Manager at EQIOM.
